Môrester Akademie is an Afrikaans, Christian, independent school that follows the KABV (CAPS), with matriculants who write the DBO’s National Senior Certificate exam.
We focus on smaller classes, individual attention, and the holistic development of each learner – academically, spiritually, and socially.
We welcome learners of any mother tongue, but through a language test, we ensure that the learner can understand, speak, write, and read Afrikaans well enough to guarantee quality teaching.

Our Approach
We understand that no two learners are the same. Our teaching approach focuses on understanding each learner’s strengths and challenges, providing support where needed, and encouraging a love of learning.

Our Finances
Like any school, we receive a subsidy from the government (WCED), but unfortunately it is not enough. We therefore rely on fundraisers and donations from the community for the growth and development of the school.
